Full Time Software Architecture & Engineering
Responsibilities
Technical guidance and expertise in architecting and designing products, services, and solutions to meet DHS Enterprise Architecture requirements.
This individual shall provide technical Request for Quotation Real Property Management System guidance on designing solutions that might include a hybrid of DHS Data Centers, Office 365, Dynamics 365 Online, Power Platform, and Azure products/services.
Extensive proven experience with DHS Microsoft Cloud (Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service experience) products (Dynamics 365, Office 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Exchange), Active Directory, and Networking.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Computer Science, or Engineering with level of security requirements for entry on duty (EOD).
Previous work experience as a technical architect
In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, networking modules, and software integration
Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems
Familiarity with programming languages, operating systems, and Office software
Plan and design the structure of technology systems, discuss these with the client
Help resolve technical problems as and when they arise
Ensure that systems satisfy quality DHS enterprise architecture standards and procedures
Work with senior IT personnel to devise plans for future IT requirements of the organization
Excellent communication skills – adept at listening to, understanding, and explaining key concepts to managerial and technical resources
Ability to see big-picture designs from basic specifications
