Technical Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a leading organization seeking an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to join its accounting and financial reporting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical accounting professional with strong U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, financial reporting, and analytical experience who enjoys working on complex accounting matters and partnering with cross-functional teams.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyze complex accounting transactions under U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos supporting accounting conclusions.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Financial Reporting, and other stakeholders on complex accounting matters.
• Review quarterly and annual impairment and CECL analyses.
• Oversee and review fair value assessments and updates.
• Prepare and review financial statement disclosures for quarterly and annual regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Prepare materials for Audit Committee meetings.
• Review contracts and assess accounting implications.
• Evaluate new accounting standards and assist with implementation.
• Coach and mentor senior accounting professionals.

🔹 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification required.
• 6+ years of accounting and/or public accounting experience.
• Technical accounting experience preferred.
• SEC and financial reporting experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP/reporting systems; Hyperion experience is a plus.
