By bringing AI-powered observability directly into the Snowflake ecosystem, we've created the first truly unified platform for telemetry and business data.We're looking for a Technical Account Manager to partner with our most strategic enterprise customers and ensure they derive sustained operational value from Observe.This is a hands-on, post-sales technical role focused on long-term platform adoption, optimization, and technical partnership. You will work directly with SRE, DevOps, platform, and engineering teams to embed Observe into daily workflows, evolve telemetry strategy over time, and continuously improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.This role is ideal for an experienced observability practitioner who enjoys being deeply embedded with customer teams, solving real production challenges, and acting as a trusted technical advisor in complex enterprise environments.What You'll DoServe as the primary technical owner and trusted advisor for assigned strategic accountsBuild deep familiarity with customer architectures, datasets, use cases, and operational goalsPartner with SRE, DevOps, and platform teams to integrate Observe into day-to-day operational workflowsOptimize datasets, queries, dashboards, and alerts for reliability, signal quality, performance, and costLead regular health checks, architecture reviews, and proactive improvement initiativesIdentify new use cases and expansion opportunities aligned to customer outcomesCoordinate technical escalations and advocate across Support, Engineering, and Product when neededProvide clear technical guidance during change events, scaling initiatives, and complex operational scenariosWhat You'll Bring7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, observability engineering, or customer-facing technical advisory rolesStrong hands-on experience operating production observability platformsDirect experience with leading observability solutions such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, Elastic (ELK), or similar platformsPractical experience with OpenTelemetry, including signals (logs, metrics, traces), instrumentation strategies, collectors, and telemetry pipelinesStrong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern DevOps practicesExperience improving operational outcomes (incident response, alert quality, troubleshooting speed, telemetry governance, or cost optimization)Ability to lead complex technical conversations with practitioners and engineering leadershipStrong written communication skills for architecture summaries, optimization plans, and executive-ready updatesA pragmatic, consultative mindset focused on solving real-world production problemsNice to HaveExperience helping organizations standardize or evolve telemetry strategies using OpenTelemetryExperience modernizing from legacy logging or monitoring tools to modern observability platformsFamiliarity with cloud-native services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes-based environmentsExperience influencing architecture or platform decisions in enterprise environmentsExposure to incident management platforms such as PagerDuty, Opsgenie, or VictorOpsExperience mentoring or guiding other engineers in observability best practicesHow This Role FitsTechnical Account Managers ensure Observe becomes a durable, high-impact part of how customers operate and improve their systems.
