X-ray/Rad Tech
Seeking a qualified X-ray/Rad Tech to provide mobile diagnostic imaging services across various healthcare facilities. The professional will operate portable radiography and EKG equipment, ensuring high-quality patient imaging and accurate transmissions for interpretation.
Responsibilities:
- Operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to capture diagnostic X-ray images.
- Unload, transport, and set up portable X-ray devices at designated facilities.
- Perform EKGs as required and transmit results to cardiologists for review.
- Submit and transmit imaging and exam-related documents to radiologists and billing departments.
- Maintain and service imaging equipment and vehicles to ensure optimal operation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, colleagues, and clients to coordinate appointments and ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Hold valid state licensure or ARRT certification as required by the state.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating digital and computed radiography equipment.
- Maintain current vaccination status against COVID-19 or valid exemption documentation.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including pushing and pulling equipment weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
