Mobile X-ray and EKG Technician
Provides mobile X-ray and EKG services to healthcare facilities, including nursing homes and other post-acute care settings. Ensures the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient assessment in a mobile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform portable X-ray examinations using digital or computed radiography equipment and transmit images for radiologist interpretation.
- Unload, transport, and set up portable X-ray equipment at various clinical sites, ensuring technically competent and diagnostic images.
- Conduct EKGs as required and transmit results to cardiologists for analysis.
- Maintain accurate exam documentation, billing records, and schedule adherence daily.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and clients to coordinate services and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot X-ray and vehicle equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT certification, State license, or equivalent credentials in radiologic technology.
- Have previous experience performing portable X-ray and EKG procedures in healthcare settings.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Be able to push/pull up to 50-100 lbs regularly, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
- Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
- Vaccination against COVID-19 required or valid exemption documentation.
