n Job Summary:n
n The Radiologic Technologist I performs diagnostic radiographic examinations with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. They operate imaging equipment, prepare patients, and support physicians in radiology procedures.n
n Responsibilities:n
n- n Position patients accurately and operate radiographic equipment according to procedural guidelines.n
- n Restrict radiation exposure by properly using collimating devices and safety protocols.n
- n Perform portable x-ray examinations in various clinical settings, including patient rooms and emergency areas.n
- n Develop exposed films using available processing methods, ensuring clear diagnostic images.n
- n Maintain accurate patient records, properly labeling and filing x-ray films and related documentation.n
- n Assist in preparing and administering radiopaque contrast media while supporting patient comfort and safety.n
n Qualifications:n
n- n Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.n
- n Possess a valid New Jersey State License and meet the requirements for the ARRT certification exam.n
- n Have 1-2 years of radiologic experience; 3+ years preferred.n
- n Demonstrate experience with manifold systems for cath lab procedures.n
- n Hold current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.n
