Job Summary:
The X-Ray/Radiologic Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The role involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and adhering to industry standards for quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and troubleshoot various imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and cooperation.
- Maintain all imaging equipment, conduct safety checks, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Monitor and adjust imaging procedures as needed to optimize image quality and patient outcomes.
- Follow all regulatory, safety, and professional guidelines during procedures.
- Document procedures accurately and report any equipment or patient concerns promptly.
- Minimum of 1-3 years' experience as an X-Ray Technician.
- Current NJ State RT License and ARRT certification.
- Demonstrate proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment setups and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of healthcare informatics, industry trends, and recent technological advancements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
