Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled X-ray/Radiologic Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging to support accurate diagnoses while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician specifications.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and explaining the process.
- Maintain and quality-check imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
- Document procedures accurately and ensure patient records are up to date.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to deliver efficient patient care.
- Hold ARRT certification or equivalent credential in radiologic technology.
- Possess current state licensure and/or registration, if applicable.
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and radiologic safety standards.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and professional bedside manner.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a healthcare team.
