Job Summary:
Responsible for performing mobile X-ray and EKG procedures in various healthcare facilities to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to capture diagnostic X-ray images.
- Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment to designated facilities for scheduled exams.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images as directed by physicians.
- Perform EKG procedures as needed and transmit results to cardiologists for interpretation.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of X-ray equipment and related vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and clients to coordinate procedures and troubleshoot issues.
- Valid ARRT Certification and state licensure in applicable jurisdiction.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Proven experience in mobile X-ray and EKG procedures.
- Ability to lift and push/pull heavy equipment, up to 50 lbs or more.
- Knowledge of radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
