Tech X-ray/Rad Tech

n Job Summary:n
n Provides diagnostic imaging services by performing X-ray procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Ensures quality images are obtained while maintaining patient safety and comfort.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images in accordance with safety standards.n
• n Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.n
• n Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.n
• n Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines, including infection control protocols.n
• n Collaborate with medical staff to ensure diagnostic accuracy and patient care.n
• n Perform routine maintenance and calibration of radiologic equipment.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold current certification and registration as a Radiology Technologist by the ARRT.n
• n Possess a valid radiologic technologist license issued by the NYSDOH.n
• n Have at least one year of general radiographer experience.n
• n Successfully complete an appropriate radiologic technologist training program, including military training if applicable.n
• n Maintain BLS certification (preferred).n
• n Exhibit strong technical skills and attention to detail.n
