Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide specialized assistance in the operating room as a Surgical Technician, supporting surgical teams and ensuring optimal patient outcomes during procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment needed for procedures.
• Assist in the handling of instruments and supplies, ensuring sterile technique is maintained throughout the operation.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by understanding the procedure being performed.
• Follow physician and RN instructions closely while adhering to hospital policies and safety standards.
• Maintain a sterile environment and practice standard precautions to ensure patient safety.
• Contribute to a safe working environment by following hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technician required.
• High school diploma or GED recognized by an accredited program.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs. and tolerate extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively with surgical team members.
