Travel Cst Cvor
The Travel CST CVOR role is responsible for providing specialized circulating surgical support in a busy cardiovascular operating room. The position involves assisting with complex thoracic, vascular, and endovascular cases, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate surgical procedures within the CVOR, including positioning, prepping, and managing endovascular equipment.
- Assist surgical teams during complex open thoracic and vascular cases such as AAA repairs, valve replacements, CABG, bypass, and stent placements.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies using Meditech system.
- Maintain sterile field and support patient safety throughout surgical procedures.
- Support and uphold hospital standards for patient care, including certification adherence and equipment safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Hold current certification as a CST with at least 2 years of surgical experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in circulating duties across general, ortho, neuro, plastics, urology, gynecology, and trauma surgeries.
- Possess experience with robotic surgery and advanced surgical equipment (e.g., XI Robot, Mako joint robot).
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Ability to work on call, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with flexibility in shift times.
