Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide specialized surgical assistance as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) in an outpatient surgery center. Support OR staff during various procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operative environment.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment based on upcoming procedures.
• Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Handle surgical supplies and ensure proper sterilization and inventory controls.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and communicate any concerns to the team.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with minimum of 6 months' OR experience.
• Active BLS, NBSTA, and DORA certifications required.
• Demonstrate proficiency with orthopedic procedures, total joints, and ENT surgeries preferred.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
