Tech Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced OR Tech to support surgical procedures in a high-volume operating room. This role requires versatility, technical proficiency, and a team-oriented mindset to ensure efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for procedures.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor and manage surgical instruments and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Support patient positioning and scene setup as needed for various surgical interventions.
• Document procedure details accurately in EMR systems and ensure compliance with unit policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid certification as a Surgical Technologist or OR Tech.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience working in surgical or operating room settings.
• Possess strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
• Be adaptable to on-call and weekend requirements, including possible holidays.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork, communication, and flexibility in fast-paced environments.
