Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Surgical CST/ORT for travel assignment in an operating room setting. The candidate will support surgical teams by preparing instruments and assisting during procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments and supplies.
- Assist surgeons and staff during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields.
- Ensure all surgical equipment functions properly and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Follow strict safety and infection control protocols throughout each shift.
- Document surgical procedures and patient information accurately.
- Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technician.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience in a surgical setting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
