Tech - Surgical

n Job Summary:n
n Seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) with CVOR experience to support the surgical unit at Medical City of Arlington. The role involves assisting with a variety of procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Assist surgical teams by preparing and maintaining sterile fields for operations.n
• n Provide support during various surgical procedures, including neuro and vascular cases.n
• n Take calls and respond to emergent needs during shifts, including holiday coverage.n
• n Ensure compliance with unit policies, protocols, and safety standards.n
• n Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to facilitate smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Tech, preferably with CVOR and vascular expertise.n
• n Hold current BLS certification.n
• n Demonstrate proficiency in Meditech electronic medical records.n
• n Be adaptable, flexible, and a team-oriented professional.n
• n Be able to work the 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday.n
• n Have strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.n
