Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Sterile Processing Techs to support a Level I Trauma Center. The role involves sterilization, decontamination, and assembly of surgical instruments, with opportunities to float across multiple campus locations to meet facility needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap of surgical instruments efficiently and accurately.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
- Document sterilization procedures and maintain accurate logs.
- Float within scope to support various facility locations, including main and satellite campuses.
- Complete required lab modules and documentation within the specified time frame.
- Hold at least 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Tech.
- Possess CBSPD and/or HSAP certification.
- Demonstrate knowledge of sterile processing procedures in a trauma-level environment.
- Maintain current credentials and licensure as applicable.
- Ability to work evening shifts (5x8s, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).
- Capable of floating between facilities within a 60-mile radius.
