Tech Nuclear Medicine

n Job Summary:n
n Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform PET imaging at a specialized outpatient oncology clinic. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patients in a low-volume, Monday–Friday schedule, focusing on oncology-related diagnostic procedures.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform PET scans within established safety protocols.n
• n Operate GE Omni and Siemens imaging equipment with proficiency.n
• n Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials.n
• n Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and radiation according to regulatory standards.n
• n Support patient care by venipuncture, blood draws, and establishing IVs as required.n
• n Comply with safety, isolation precautions, and PPE requirements throughout all procedures.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold a minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience with PET imaging.n
• n Possess New York State Department of Health License and NMTCB Certification.n
• n Demonstrate experience with venipuncture, blood draws, and IV insertion.n
• n Must have PET/CT experience and familiarity with GE and Siemens equipment.n
• n Prefer ARRT (N) and ARRT (PET) credentials, with hospital or outpatient clinic background.n
• n Ability to complete EKG testing within 72 hours as required.n
