Tech Nuclear Medicine

n Job Summary:n
n The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using advanced imaging equipment. This role requires expertise in various nuclear medicine exams and the ability to float to cardiac departments as needed.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures with accuracy and attention to quality.n
• n Operate GE and Philips Nuclear Medicine cameras, ensuring optimal image quality.n
• n Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation safety standards.n
• n Maintain detailed and accurate patient charts using EPIC system.n
• n Float to cardiac departments when necessary, supporting overall departmental staffing needs.n
• n Comply with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine.n
• n Possess a postprimary credential in Computed Tomography (CT), such as R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or CNMT, NMTCB(CT).n
• n Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission.n
• n Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred.n
• n BLS certification required.n
• n Demonstrated experience with diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine exams.n
