Job Description
Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing nuclear medicine techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They operate specialized equipment and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to prescribed protocols.
  • Operate and troubleshoot nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain proper documentation of procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret and deliver imaging results.
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance, including obtaining and verifying required certifications.
Qualifications:
  • Valid California NMTCB certification and/or ARRT (N) registration.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 13 weeks' experience in nuclear medicine.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour week, including work every third weekend.
  • Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
