Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide expert imaging services in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role involves performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and calibrate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following strict safety guidelines.
- Monitor patient conditions throughout procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, doses, and patient information.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to interpret results and support patient diagnosis.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards related to nuclear medicine practices.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT or equivalently recognized credential).
- Possess at least 1 year of clinical experience in nuclear medicine procedures.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, safety protocols, and imaging techniques.
- Exhibit excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Maintain current licensing and registration as required by state regulations.
