Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment at a mid-sized facility. The role involves performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures with a focus on quality patient care and adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including MPI Stress Tests, Bone Scans, HIDA, Brain Deaths, Renal, Parathyroid, and Lung Perfusions.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment such as GE Discovery NM 630 and GE Case Machine.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and safety protocols are followed during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems, including Meditech and Merge.
- Adhere to all unit policies and guidelines regarding safety, confidentiality, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Possess CNMT and/or ARRT (NM) certification.
- Hold current BLS certification.
- TMB license or registration preferred.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years hospital experience preferred.
- Exhibit excellent time management, reliability, and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
