Tech - MRI

n Job Summary:n
n The MRI Tech is responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images. They collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced healthcare environment.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders and established protocols.n
• n Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.n
• n Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure optimal functionality.n
• n Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.n
• n Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.n
• n Document each procedure and maintain accurate patient records.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold a valid Ohio MRI technologist license or eligible compact license.n
• n Minimum of 18 months of permanent MRI technologist experience in a clinical setting.n
• n Active certifications in MRI safety and operation, with nothing pending.n
• n Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safemedicate assessments, scoring acceptable in both.n
• n Pass background check and drug screening within required time frames.n
• n No license hits or violations on record.n
