MRI Technologist Position
This position requires an experienced MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. The role involves working in a Level III Trauma facility with evening shifts and on-call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images according to approved protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Epic charting system.
- Adhere to all safety standards and proper use of equipment, including Philips MRI systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing imaging services outside regular hours.
- Follow facility policies regarding RTO, lab requirements, and hurricane season protocols.
Qualifications
- Hold an ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with at least 1 year of MRI technologist experience.
- Possess a valid South Carolina license or be eligible to obtain it.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Have experience working with Philips MRI equipment.
- Demonstrate strong patient care and communication skills.
- Able to work evening shifts and participate in on-call rotations.
