Tech - MRI

n Job Summary:n
n Seeking a qualified MRI Technologist licensed in New York to perform advanced MRI procedures. The ideal candidate will support various imaging needs within a fast-paced clinical environment, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostics.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Maintain proficiency in performing adult and pediatric MRI scans across multiple body regions, including brain, pelvis, extremities, and vascular imaging.n
• n Operate GE MRI equipment and utilize PACS for image management while adhering to radiation safety protocols.n
• n Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including contrast media administration and peripheral IV placement.n
• n Ensure all imaging adheres to hospital standards, including infection control and PPE requirements.n
• n Manage patient data accurately within EPIC or equivalent charting systems.n
• n Demonstrate leadership in managing imaging schedules, equipment, and patient flow efficiently.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold a valid NY State MRI Technologist license upon start.n
• n Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent MRI tech experience in acute and outpatient settings.n
• n ARRT-R certification and current BLS certification required.n
• n Proven competency in adult and pediatric MRI imaging, including MRA and MRV procedures.n
• n Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and respond to high-pressure situations.n
• n Knowledge of OSHA standards and infection control policies.n
