MRI Technologist
Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and equipment standards while providing excellent patient support throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Document imaging procedures and manage patient records accurately.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid radiologic technologist license issued by the NYSDOH.
- Possess current MRI certification and registration from ARRT or ARMRIT.
- Demonstrate at least one year of MRI experience.
- Have relevant equipment experience and technical competency.
- Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Hold an Associate's degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
