Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will operate various MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI scans using Phillips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering questions.
- Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Maintain accurate documentation within EMR and PACS systems.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards, including NYS Radiologic License and BLS certification.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow.
- Hold a valid NYS Radiologic License and current BLS certification.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Phillips, Siemens, Toshiba MRI equipment, and EMR/PACS systems.
- Maintain ARRT certification, or equivalent, including RT and MRI credentials.
- Capable of managing patient care and providing excellent communication skills.
