Job Summary:
The Surgical Instrument Reprocessing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical instruments to ensure patient safety and adherence to sterilization protocols. This role requires attention to detail and experience in surgical instrument management.
Responsibilities:

• Reprocess surgical instruments following strict sterilization procedures.
• Operate sterilization and cleaning equipment efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation of instrument processing activities.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards at all times.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure instruments are ready for procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of reprocessed instruments.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical instrument reprocessing.
• Hold relevant certifications such as HSPA, CRCST, or CSPDT preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical instrument handling.
• Ability to work a schedule of Monday through Friday, 11 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Maintain attention to detail and ability to follow detailed protocols.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
