Mammography Tech
The Mammography Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic breast imaging procedures with precision and care. They collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality imaging results and patient comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Execute mammography procedures according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently while ensuring patient positioning for optimal results.
- Rotate between different imaging centers and mobile Van as required, maintaining flexibility.
- Adhere to all compliance, certification, and documentation requirements for each assignment.
- Maintain open communication with team members and supervisors regarding patient care and equipment issues.
- Complete necessary documentation, including work history verification and certification uploads.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid ARRT certification in mammography.
- Possess a California State Mammography Licensure and certification from the California Department of Health Services.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Have at least 2 years of hands-on experience performing mammography procedures.
- Be willing to float and rotate between multiple imaging centers and mobile units.
- Maintain current AHA or ARC CPR certification.
