Mammography Technologist
Seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams. This temporary assignment offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all procedures and patient information.
- Adhere to all licensing, certification, and institutional policies.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid radiologic licensure issued by New York State Department of Health.
- Certification in mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) strongly preferred.
- MQSA certification and experience with screening and diagnostic mammography required.
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited educational program or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of mammography experience.
