Tech Lead
Location: Remote with occasional onsite (1+ days in a week per month (not every day that week) – for PI planning, team building activities, etc)
Duration: Contract-to-Hire (no set duration for contract before hire but will likely be after 6 months to a year before becoming FTE at the earliest)
Working with heterogenous systems, integration
Will be Server Side, backend interactions and interface
Previous Lead experience
Takes ownership, makes decisions and speaks up
Will be less than 30% hands-on development
Strong Infrastructure understanding (i.e. load distribution, working in different environments, etc)
All back end work – if they need front end it will be on vendor side of application and they will oversee it not implement it
Must Have:
- Lead experience
- Java 8+
- Spring boot - microservices from scratch. Can write and maintain
- Rest APIs
- Oracle 8+ for database is what they’re using – any Relational DB experience is fine
- AWS
Nice to Have:
- They want to go towards DevOps – someone who can do that migration when they’re ready
