Photon is seeking a Tech Lead - API in Tampa, FL (Onsite). This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end technical delivery of Java-based applications and services.
- Designing and implementing scalable microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborating with architects and stakeholders to define solution architecture.
- Driving best practices in coding, design, and deployment.
- Mentoring junior developers through code reviews and technical sessions.
- Integrating backend services with data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.
- Ensuring system scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and working with cross-functional teams.
- Supporting DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring.
