To lead the technical direction of the Code Plane team, the full-time remote Tech Lead for AI Development will manage product surfaces that facilitate large-scale code changes, leveraging AI to enhance developer workflows and ensure seamless integration across multiple repositories. Key responsibilities Set technical and product direction for the Code Plane team, driving the roadmap from issue to shipped products Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer feedback into actionable product features and improvements Mentor team members and establish reliable engineering practices for design, review, testing, and delivery Required qualifications 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong technical background Fluency in technologies such as Go, TypeScript, SvelteKit, React, GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes Proven experience building end-user product features, particularly in developer tools or AI products Hands-on experience with coding agents and understanding their integration within workflows Experience collaborating closely with Product and Design to take features from concept to deployment
