Tech First Assist

n Job Summary:n
n Seeking an experienced Surgical First Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment in Salt Lake City. The role involves supporting cardiovascular surgeries in a fast-paced cardiac unit, primarily assisting with procedures like CABG and valve surgeries.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Assist surgeons during open-heart and endovascular procedures, ensuring all protocols are followed.n
• n Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvest with expertise utilizing Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro systems.n
• n Prepare surgical areas and maintain sterile techniques throughout procedures.n
• n Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation and patient safety.n
• n Adhere to hospital policies, including weekend and on-call responsibilities.n
• n Maintain required certifications such as CSFA, CFA, or SA-C.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Possess at least 2 years of independent Endoscopic Vein Harvest experience.n
• n Have a minimum of 2 years of Open Heart First Assist experience.n
• n Hold current certifications: CSFA, CFA, or SA-C.n
• n Demonstrate proficiency in procedures including CABG, valve repair, TAVR, and thoracic surgeries.n
• n Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills.n
• n Be available to start on 09/21/2026 for a 13-week assignment.n
