Tech - First Assist

n Job Summary:n
n Provide advanced surgical assistance in a high-volume operating room, supporting a variety of specialties including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and general surgery. Ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality patient care during procedures.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Assist surgeons during complex surgical procedures using advanced techniques and instrumentation.n
• n Prepare operating rooms with appropriate equipment and supplies, including specialized robotic tools.n
• n Adhere to all safety protocols, sterile techniques, and regulatory standards.n
• n Collaborate effectively with surgical team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient outcomes.n
• n Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and assist with post-operative care as needed.n
• n Provide on-call support based on scheduled rotations, including nights and weekends.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold an active Virginia Surgical Technologist license.n
• n Possess at least 2 years of surgical assisting experience.n
• n Demonstrate proficiency in robotic surgery, orthopedic procedures, and neuro/spine cases.n
• n Exhibit excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability under pressure.n
• n Be capable of assisting across multiple specialties with a focus on safety and precision.n
• n Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with a diverse patient population.n
