n Job Summary:n
n Seeking a skilled First Assist professional experienced in vein harvesting for CABG procedures. The role involves assisting with on and off pump CABG surgeries, VATS, and valve replacements in a dynamic cardiovascular unit.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Assist surgeons during CABG, VATS, and valve replacement procedures.n
• n Perform vein harvesting and ensure adherence to surgical protocols.n
• n Support on-pump and off-pump cardiac surgeries with precision.n
• n Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.n
• n Complete onboarding modules and compliance requirements within designated timelines.n
• n Maintain certification requirements and stay current with clinical best practices.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a First Assist in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery.n
• n Current NBSTSA certification and valid state or compact license.n
• n BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.n
• n Demonstrated proficiency in vein harvesting, CABG assistance, and cardiac surgery assist techniques.n
• n Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.n
• n Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius for assignment.n
