Ultrasound Technologist

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to obtain accurate images for medical analysis and diagnosis. Ensure patient comfort and adhere to safety standards throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce detailed images of internal body structures.
  • Assist physicians in interpreting ultrasound results for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Document patient information and imaging findings accurately in the electronic health record.

Qualifications:

  • Certified as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer.
  • Possess ARRT or ARDMS certification in Ultrasound or related specialty.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting images.
  • Be flexible and capable of working in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Hold current BLS certification.
