Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Tech to join our high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will assist in complex open-heart and vascular procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support cardiovascular surgeries by preparing and maintaining a sterile field and surgical equipment.
- Assist surgeons during procedures, passing instruments, and managing supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and equipment usage.
- Adhere to strict safety and compliance standards in a high-stakes clinical setting.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical team members to ensure smooth operative flow.
- Complete onsite modules and record hours accurately during orientation.
- Hold NBSTSA or NCCT certification in Surgical Technology.
- Demonstrate scrub experience within a cardiac surgical environment.
- Possess at least 1 year of relevant CVOR experience.
- Maintain a valid Allied or RN license, non-compact, in hand at submission.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting with flexible scheduling.
- Ability to float to similar units and operate efficiently under mission-driven standards.
- Gain valuable experience in a specialized, high-acuity CVOR setting.
