CVOR Tech Opportunity
Seeking a highly skilled CVOR Tech to join the cardiothoracic surgical team. Responsible for supporting operating room procedures in cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment specific to cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist surgeons during vascular, thoracic, open heart, and endovascular cases, maintaining sterile technique.
- Monitor and operate specialized CVOR equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, including case specifics and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
- Comply with all safety and radiation protocols, including badge management and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Certified CVOR Tech with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in cardiovascular surgeries.
- Valid BLS and NBSTSA certifications; NCCT not accepted.
- Demonstrated experience with vascular, thoracic, open-heart, and endovascular cases.
- Ability to work 4×10 hour days or 5×8 hour days, with on-call shifts including weekends.
- Willingness to float to sister facilities if required.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills in a high-pressure environment.
