CT Imaging Specialist
Provide advanced CT imaging services in a hospital setting, ensuring accurate diagnostics and patient safety. Operate state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality care during assigned shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans using GE equipment across various protocols including CTA, ABD PELV, CAP PELV, and CAP.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and ensure comfort and safety.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and scheduling requirements.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech EMR system.
- Collaborate with radiology team members to optimize workflow and patient care.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT (R) certification in CT imaging.
- Possess a minimum of 6 months current CT Tech experience.
- Be BLS certified or willing to obtain certification prior to start.
- Demonstrate experience with GE imaging systems and Meditech/ Centricity PACS.
- Have recent night shift trauma experience (Trauma I or II preferred).
- Show willingness to work as part of a team and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
