CT Imaging Specialist

Provide advanced CT imaging services in a hospital setting, ensuring accurate diagnostics and patient safety. Operate state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality care during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT scans using GE equipment across various protocols including CTA, ABD PELV, CAP PELV, and CAP.
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures and ensure comfort and safety.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
  • Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and scheduling requirements.
  • Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech EMR system.
  • Collaborate with radiology team members to optimize workflow and patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Hold ARRT (R) certification in CT imaging.
  • Possess a minimum of 6 months current CT Tech experience.
  • Be BLS certified or willing to obtain certification prior to start.
  • Demonstrate experience with GE imaging systems and Meditech/ Centricity PACS.
  • Have recent night shift trauma experience (Trauma I or II preferred).
  • Show willingness to work as part of a team and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
