Tech - CT

Job Summary: Operates computed tomography (CT) and other imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images for medical assessment. Performs a range of radiologic procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate image capture.

Responsibilities: Operate and troubleshoot CT, radiography, and fluoroscopy equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Assess patient needs and position patients appropriately for optimal imaging results. Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to interpreting radiologists. Maintain detailed records of procedures, imaging data, and billing information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment to uphold safety and performance standards. Adhere to all clinical safety protocols, including patient confidentiality, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines.

Qualifications: Hold an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; preferred. Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) credentials. Possess current state licensure in radiologic technology, with required certifications in CA, OR, and HI. Maintain BLS certification from an approved provider. Demonstrate proficiency in fluoroscopy licensing and venipuncture, if applicable. Have at least two years of recent clinical experience in radiologic imaging.
