CT Technologist
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
- Verify patient identification and explain procedures clearly to ensure cooperation and safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond promptly to any concerns or adverse reactions.
- Complete and document all imaging reports accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active ARRT CT certification and valid CA State license.
- Possess BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT imaging experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating CT equipment and related software.
- Maintain compliance with travel and local healthcare staffing requirements.
- Ability to verify work history and provide relevant professional references.
