Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CT Tech to provide high-quality computed tomography imaging services in a fast-paced hospital setting. The candidate will work closely with clinical teams to ensure efficient patient care and accurate imaging procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform standard CT scans using GE and Siemens equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with ER and trauma teams to expedite patient imaging needs, including stroke and trauma cases.
- Maintain documentation within Meditech and GE Centricity systems accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to unit-specific policies, guidelines, and dress code requirements to ensure a professional working environment.
- Support team efforts by floating to main departments as needed, maintaining flexibility and coverage.
- Utilize advanced skills such as Terra Recon or platform reformatting to enhance image quality and diagnostic capabilities.
- Hold ARRT CT certification and a valid Florida license.
- Possess at least 1 year of GE CT experience and trauma/stroke imaging expertise.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Terra Recon or similar reformatting platforms.
- Be BLS certified and committed to providing friendly, patient-focused care following AIDET principles.
- Showcase strong teamwork skills with a supportive and experienced staff.
- Be capable of working Night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
