CT Tech Position
Seeking a highly skilled CT Tech to perform advanced CT scans and X-ray procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role requires versatility across multiple modalities, serving a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Siemens CT and X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assist in positioning patients accurately for various procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage.
- Follow departmental protocols and safety guidelines, including radiation precautions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Complete required training and adhere to schedule, including initial onboarding hours.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) and CT certifications.
- Possess valid NYS License and IV Certification.
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience operating Siemens imaging equipment.
- Be proficient in performing extremities, spine, pelvis, head, chest, and musculoskeletal scans.
- Maintain current BLS certification and ability to lift/move significant patient equipment.
- Eager to work in a dynamic, multi-department healthcare setting.
