CT Technologist
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Assesses, plans, and executes imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Evaluate patient conditions and adjust imaging techniques accordingly.
- Assess, plan, and implement care for patients across all age groups from adolescence to geriatric.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely and accurately.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly for optimal performance.
- Document and manage patient records, billing, and data in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Hold an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Computed Tomography (ARRT-RT and ARRT-CT).
- Possess active Radiologic Tech license in California.
- Have certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Demonstrate venipuncture certification (preferred).
- Maintain facility-specific certifications, such as BLS from AHA or ARC.
