Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to operate advanced imaging equipment, including Philips, GE, and Siemens scanners, in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role requires expertise in CT imaging procedures, patient care, and adherence to safety protocols during weekend night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans using multiple machines, including Philips 128 iCT, GE Rev EVO 64, and Siemens Edge Plus 128.
- Ensure accurate application of contrast and medication systems, such as Omnicell.
- Follow protocols for trauma and stroke cases, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
- Maintain strict compliance with travel and certification requirements, including EPIC EMR, BLS, ARRT, and SCRQSA certifications.
- Communicate effectively with team members through SBAR and document procedures accurately.
- Float to various Prisma Health units as needed, demonstrating competence and adaptability.
- Valid CT Technologist certification with ARRT credentials.
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience operating CT scanners and working in trauma/stroke centers.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR and medication systems such as Omnicell.
- Must have CT certification and be able to work night shifts, weekends, and float as required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Must send Social Security Number with application and complete agency modules within 48 hours.
