Job Summary:
Performs computerized tomography (CT) procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians and healthcare providers. Demonstrates independent clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and attentive patient care to ensure accurate results and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Execute routine and specialized CT scans with precision and adherence to protocols.
- Assess patients prior to procedures, monitor during imaging, and communicate effectively to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant privacy, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Document procedures accurately and ensure equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Support departmental training and orientation for new staff members as needed.
- Adhere to scheduling and shift requirements, including working 3×12-hour days, Thursday through Saturday.
Qualifications:
- Valid CA CRT Licensure and CA Venipuncture licensure.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent CT imaging experience.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster patient confidence and teamwork.
- Up-to-date certifications with valid expiration dates uploaded and verified.
