Job Summary:
The Cath Lab/EP Technologist is responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology suite. They support healthcare teams by preparing equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring a sterile environment during procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during Cardiac Cath Lab and neuro interventional radiology procedures.
- Prepare and operate specialized imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and O arm systems.
- Monitor patient vital signs and maintain patient safety throughout procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and readiness of the procedure suite equipment.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
- Follow all safety protocols, including trauma x-ray and surgical procedures.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid CA state license and CRT certification with fluoroscopy license.
- Possess at least 3 years of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Neuro Interventional Radiology.
- Demonstrate proficiency in trauma X-ray and surgical procedures involving O arm systems.
- Maintain BLS certification.
- Have prior travel experience (preferred).
