Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Cath Lab/EP Technologist to provide specialized support during cardiovascular procedures. The candidate will assist with various interventions, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sterilize equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology studies.
- Monitor patient vitals and ensure proper positioning throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Adhere to hospital policies on scope of practice and on-call requirements.
- Hold an active ARRT or RCIS certification.
- Have structural heart experience preferred.
- Be willing to participate in on-call rotations.
- Demonstrate the ability to float within hospital departments within scope of practice.
- Candidates must be nicotine-free and comply with tobacco-free facility policies.
- Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year.
