Cath Lab Tech Travel Assignment
Seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment in a busy hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and be available to work 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM on a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and call shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and monitor complex cardiac and electrophysiology procedures in a fast-paced lab environment.
- Scrub and assist during catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Set up and operate specialized equipment including Philips and Meditech systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information in electronic medical records.
- Respond promptly to on-call needs and assist in emergent situations as required.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT (R), RCIS, or RCES certification with a minimum of 6 months recent acute care Cath Lab experience.
- Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Have current fluoroscopy operator registration with DORA if RCIS or RCES credentialed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in patient monitoring and sedation management.
- Prefer candidates with Meditech experience and EP lab scrub experience.
- Be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
